Always remember that resume writing is an art, not a science. You are trying to seduce the recruiter in to calling you for an interview so make sure you are providing them with the information that they need in a way that makes you look like someone they want to hire. Basically it is an advertisement for yourself. You want to come off as competent, qualified, and the type of person they want to have working for them.

Every industry has a format that works best for that type of work. Therefor, you should review our samples and compare it with yours just to make sure you have not omitted something important. It would be a shame to miss a great opportunity simply because something got over looked

There are two basic formats and by reviewing our pages you will see which one will be right for you, functional or chronological. We can help you decide on the right resume format. By choosing the right format you are able to put you greatest attributes where they will get noticed.

Of course you can not forget your cover letter. It too should be tailored for you industry but it also let you customize it to a specific job. It also let's them know that you are interested in that job, not just any job and that makes a very positive impression

Last but not least is your proof reading. Nothing will take you out of consideration for a job faster than misspelled words and poor grammar. They will conclude if you can't do good work on this you will not be able to do good work for the company. Proof read it several times and maybe have a pair of fresh eyes look at it as well.
